The Cardamine vest is the perfect layering piece that was inspired by 18th century quilted Jumps, the traditional dirndl bodice of alpine regions of Europe, as well as vintage style vests of the 1940s & 50s.

The different views are based on two different sewing methods: View A is a classic vest with lining, and View B is the quilted vest finished with bias bound edges and armholes. It is a very versatile pattern as both views can be worn reversible depending on which of the multiple closure options chosen: lacing panel, button or snap closure, or ties.

Multiple combinations are possible by choosing between the scoop or high neckline and either the waist length or mid hip length for the hemline.

The pattern includes 3 bust cup options (B/C, D/E & F/G cups) plus an extensive fitting guide including:

-How to Lengthen or Shorten the Pattern Pieces

-How to Raise or Lower the Bust

-How to Blend Between Sizes

-Small & Full bust adjustment tutorials

-How to Adjust the Bust Shape

-Adding or Removing the Ease at the Bust
